Join Bricker attorneys Melissa Carleton and Josh Nolan, as well as Dr. Jennifer Caldwell, for an interactive and informative program to learn what the laws require, how to be trauma-informed, and what your institution should be doing with regard to sexual harassment and misconduct. This training is appropriate for administrators involved in the Title IX investigation process, investigators, hearing panel members, and adjudicators.

Additional Information:

Student-on-student sexual harassment and misconduct is on the rise. The U.S. Department of Education requires all college and university employees who are involved in the Title IX process to be trained annually on anti-harassment procedures, and places a particular emphasis on those who participate in the investigation and adjudication of sex discrimination and harassment complaints.

Participants will learn how to conduct trauma informed investigations, conduct interviews to obtain evidence necessary for evaluating policy violations and credibility, consider questions regarding consent and incapacitation, and participate in experiential exercises to help put theory into practice.

Space is limited to the first 60 registrants.
