Title IX Policy Drafting Bootcamp (Higher Education)

Cost of Event: $350 per institution.
Only one employee from each institution needs to sign up for a session. Materials and Zoom links may be shared internally with other employees once an institution is registered to attend a session.

Bricker Graydon’s Higher Education team is pleased to announce two separate opportunities to discuss best practices for drafting a Title IX policy, including the following topics:

• Recognizing your institution’s ethic of care
• Applying that ethic of care to your policy through messaging, language, and structure
• Language considerations
• Structural considerations
• Necessary policy components, and
• Optional policy components

Each stand-alone session will also discuss the ways in which your Title IX policy will be impacted by the 2024 Title IX Regulations, which take effect August 1, 2024. These bootcamps are designed for Title IX Coordinators and other individuals charged with drafting institutional Title IX policies, and attendees should walk away with a framework for making decisions about what to include in their policy. Please be advised that each of these 3-hour interactive sessions are limited to employees of higher education institutions.

Attendees only need to participate in one day to complete the bootcamp.
