Anne Marie Sferra tapped as president for Ohio civil defense attorney group
Columbus, Ohio – January 6, 2014 … Anne Marie Sferra has been named 2014 president of the Ohio Association of Civil Trial Attorneys (OACTA).
Sferra, a partner in Bricker & Eckler’s litigation group, was sworn in at the 2013 OACTA meeting. “We are pleased to have Anne Marie in such an important role in our industry,” said Kurt Tunnell, Bricker & Eckler’s managing partner. “Anne Marie’s extensive litigation experience will be of benefit to the OACTA membership.”
The first Columbus-area attorney to become certified as an Appellate Law Specialist by the Ohio State Bar Association, Sferra was a member of the legal counsel team to the 200-member Ohio Alliance for Civil Justice that supported reform to Ohio's tort law.
