Dane Stinson Joins Bricker & Eckler

COLUMBUS, Ohio, May 30, 2013 - Dane Stinson has joined Bricker & Eckler as a partner in the firm’s Energy, Public Utilities and Environmental group. With nearly 30 years of experience, Dane focuses his practice on the regulated and unregulated activities of public utilities, pipeline companies and competitive suppliers in the electric, natural gas and telecommunications industries.

With his expert knowledge of the industry, Dane represents a variety of competitive energy suppliers and consumers, including large-scale governmental aggregations and commercial consumer coalitions and individual commercial and industrial customers. He also represents power generators, pipeline companies and wind developers who seek certification of their energy development projects before the Ohio Power Siting Board. In addition, Dane represents competitive suppliers and consumers in energy procurement and contractual issues.

Dane appears frequently before the Public Utilities Commission of Ohio and once served as its Deputy Legal Counsel. He has also served as the Ohio Supreme Court’s Master Commissioner of Public Utility Law.

Dane is a two-time graduate of The Ohio State University, from which he received both his undergraduate degree and his law degree. He is a member of the Columbus Bar Association, the Ohio State Bar Association, and the Federal Communications Bar Association.
