Harris participates in “Opportunity Appalachia” forum

Public finance attorney Jeff Harris represented Bricker & Eckler at “Opportunity Appalachia,” an event that gathered community leaders to discuss economic development opportunities for the region. Specifically, the forum focused on tax breaks for local development, how to attract investors and the utilization of opportunity zones. Harris, according to The Marietta Times,  “explained the types of projects investors with capital gains” are currently seeking, which include real estate, mixed-use development, and internet access and digital upgrade.
