Melissa Carleton comments to The Chronicle of Higher Education regarding pregnant and parenting students in colleges

Bricker attorney Melissa Carleton was quoted in an article written by The Chronicle of Higher Education, titled "Colleges brace for more pregnant and parenting students." Melissa notes, “We’re going to have more pregnant students, and we’re going to have more enforcement by OCR.”
 
Melissa goes on to say, “The law sets a floor, not a ceiling," continuing to note that in helping students to graduate, "there are legal requirements, and then there is an institutional ethic of care.”
