Partner Jerry Allen will receive David D. White Award

Bricker & Eckler Partner Jerry Allen will be honored with Capital University Law School’s David D. White Award, given to individuals who have made a significant contribution to the African American community.

“He has reached the pinnacle of his career by becoming a partner at one of Ohio’s most prestigious law firms, while continuing to expand his professional expertise in the legal areas of business, tax and nonprofit organizations,” said nominator J. Thomas Siwo, a 2011 Capital University Law School graduate and a Bricker attorney. “Through his participation in (Bricker’s executive and diversity committees), Mr. Allen has been instrumental in recruiting Capital Law students, among others, and helping set the firm’s priorities. Jerry epitomizes the attributes of David D. White and has been an influential figure to many law students and practitioners.”
