Bricker Graydon Attorney Colin Kalvas Named 2025 PACE Champion of the Year by PACENation
Bricker Graydon is proud to share that attorney Colin Kalvas has been named the 2025 PACE Champion of the Year by PACENation, the national membership association for PACE (Property Assessed Clean Energy) financing. The award was presented on May 16th during the PACENation Summit in New York City and recognizes outstanding leadership and innovation in the Commercial Property Assessed Clean Energy (C-PACE) industry.
Colin leads Bricker Graydon’s national C-PACE legal practice and has played a pivotal role in helping the firm reach a significant milestone in 2024 of closing over $1 billion in C-PACE transactions across 11 states, including more than 300 separate deals. This activity accounts for nearly all transactional volume in Ohio and Kentucky, positioning Bricker Graydon as a market leader in this space. Nationally, the team’s work accounts for approximately 10-15% of all C-PACE transactional volume.
Colin’s recognition builds on a strong legacy within the firm. He follows in the footsteps of partner Caleb Bell, who received the same honor in 2023. The Bricker Graydon PACE Team, comprised of attorneys, consultants, and legal professionals from across the firm, has been instrumental in shaping the C-PACE landscape nationwide. From drafting legislation and creating local programs to structuring innovative financing models, their work continues to expand the reach and impact of C-PACE.
