Kent Wellington Named to Cincinnati 300 for 2025
Bricker Graydon partner and Cincinnati Market Leader Kent Wellington has been named to the 2025 Cincinnati 300, Cincinnati Magazine’s annual list recognizing the region’s most influential business leaders. The publication highlights individuals whose work, leadership, and community impact shape the direction of Greater Cincinnati today.
Kent, a tenured attorney of Cincinnati-based Graydon, Head & Ritchey, which joined forces with Columbus-based Bricker Graydon through a merger in 2023, has since served on the firm’s executive committee, previously chaired its litigation group, and continued to build a practice focused on litigation, labor and employment matters, and advising start-ups. Originally from Wooster, Ohio, he is known across the firm and the region for his steady leadership and talent for developing strong teams.
In the Cincinnati 300 profile, Kent points to culture as the driving force behind attracting the next generation of legal talent, noting that the firm is committed to creating spaces where people want to be, not have to be. Looking ahead, he identifies a major challenge shared across the legal industry: continuing to grow and retain talent capable of serving clients at a high level while embracing rapidly evolving technology, all without losing the human side of practicing law.
Cincinnati Magazine describes the Cincinnati 300 as a look at the most powerful and impactful leaders moving the region forward—familiar names as well as rising voices shaping its future. Kent’s inclusion reflects both his long-standing influence in the legal community and his role in guiding Bricker Graydon’s presence in Greater Cincinnati.
