Aaron advises schools and public entities on governance, investigations, and day-to-day operations, helping leaders navigate complex legal issues with confidence and practicality.

Aaron Ross is an attorney in Bricker Graydon Wyatt’s Education Practice Group, where he focuses on general education and administrative law. He advises K-12 school clients on a wide range of legal matters, including administrative hearings, investigative proceedings, and governance issues. Aaron regularly serves as general counsel to school boards, providing practical and strategic guidance on employment matters, employee discipline, board policy development, transportation matters, public records compliance, and district of responsibility determinations.

Aaron has significant experience conducting and advising on school-based investigations, including matters involving employee misconduct and claims arising under Title VII and Title IX. He also counsels educational institutions on responding to charges filed with the Ohio Civil Rights Commission and the EEOC, as well as complaints involving student records and privacy issues. His work frequently involves collaborating with superintendents, administrators, and board members to address both immediate concerns and forward-looking compliance considerations.

In addition to his school practice, Aaron is experienced in negotiating and reviewing contracts and advising professional licensing boards. Aaron’s broader public sector practice includes representing municipalities on legislative matters, regulatory enforcement, and collective bargaining preparation.
