Leslie Ghiz focuses her practice on labor and employment law, internal investigations, and complex workplace matters. With extensive experience advising both public and private sector clients, she offers practical, informed guidance on issues ranging from employee discipline and policy development to collective bargaining and employment litigation.

Leslie has significant experience defending claims involving the FMLA, ADA, ADEA, FLSA, ERISA, Title IX, and EEOC matters. She is highly skilled in drafting and negotiating collective bargaining agreements, conducting internal investigations, and managing risk in sensitive employment disputes. Known for her straightforward and effective communication style, Leslie is committed to delivering clear, actionable solutions.

In addition to her legal practice, Leslie has served as a Judge in the Hamilton County Court of Common Pleas since 2013, where she oversaw complex civil litigation including employment disputes, contract issues, business disagreements, and personal injury claims. Her judicial experience provides valuable insight into litigation strategy, motion practice, and case resolution.

Leslie also served three terms on Cincinnati City Council, contributing to finance, public safety, and economic development initiatives. Her public service and leadership experience further enhanced her ability to navigate the intersection of law, policy, and organizational goals.
