Lindsay Roop brings a rare blend of procurement insight and dispute resolution expertise to Bricker Graydon’s Construction group.
Lindsay Roop joins Bricker Graydon’s Construction group, bringing two decades of experience advising on procurement, contracting, and dispute resolution in both government and private practice. Most recently, she served as an attorney with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs Office of General Counsel, where she was the primary procurement counsel for VA health networks across the country.
Lindsay counsels clients on all aspects of the acquisition process, including the procurement of supplies, services, construction, and leases, as well as contract administration, dispute resolution, terminations, and settlements. She also has deep experience with policy and regulatory review, appropriations law, and real property matters. Lindsay has represented the VA before the Government Accountability Office in protest matters, supported litigation before the U.S. Court of Federal Claims, and handled disputes before the Civilian Board of Contract Appeals.
In addition to her legal practice, Lindsay held leadership roles within the VA’s Office of General Counsel, co-chairing its Education and Training Committee and leading cross-practice collaboration initiatives. She frequently develops and presents training for attorneys and agency clients nationwide. Earlier in her career, Lindsay practiced labor, employment, and employee benefits law.
Active in her community, Lindsay serves on the Worthington Education Foundation Board and co-chairs its Grant Committee. She has also led local school levy campaign initiatives, co-founded an outdoor learning space project, and held leadership roles in youth sports booster organizations.
