Staci Smith is a paralegal in Bricker Graydon’s Columbus Office, bringing more than 16 years of legal experience supporting attorneys in estate planning, probate, and personal injury matters. She is known for her attention to detail and professionalism, particularly when working with individuals and families navigating sensitive legal matters.
Prior to joining the firm, Staci supported estate planning and probate practices, where she assisted with the drafting, proofreading, and organization of wills, powers of attorney, and probate filings for large estates, real estate transfers, and guardianships. Her work regularly involved preparing deeds and affidavits with precise legal descriptions, managing case files and deadlines through legal case management systems, and electronically filing documents with probate courts. She also supported document execution during client meetings and gathered financial and personal information required for probate proceedings.
Earlier in her career, Staci worked in a personal injury practice, assisting with a high volume of active cases and supporting attorneys through all stages of litigation. She managed calendars, coordinated depositions and mediations, prepared and reviewed pleadings and correspondence, and maintained organized filing systems.
